Apakah boikot ini benar-benar berfungsi? Ya, tentu saja. Contohnya adalah perusahaan Coca Cola di atas, dan juga perusahaan McDonald yang sejak 2002 terpaksa menutup banyak cabangnya di timur tengah karena boikot yang dilancarkan di sana.
